The port is the main hub of the town, and is located on the east side of the town, less than a five minute walk from the hotel. Here you can relax in a cafe and gaze out across the boats and beaches of Es Dolç and Es Carbó. There are restaurants, gift shops, banks, tourist information and your departure point for trips to the island of Cabrera.
Heading from the port to the western side of the town, you pass the supermarket and pharmacy, and join the main road which also has cafes, restaurants and shops, head past the historic Salines, where they have been making salt since Roman times, and moments later are walking on the sand of Es Estanys towards the most famous of all the beaches: Es Trenc.
